A fantastic river cruise from vibrant Bangkok to historic Ayuthaya that takes passengers to the kingdom’s past and present capital cities. You’ll be travelling onboard the beautiful Manohra Song, a century-old former rice barge with luxurious accomodation. During the day you’ll visit the World Heritage site of Siam’s former capital, Ayuthaya, and the relics from Bangkok’s earliest days, along with a cultural experience.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Sightseeing in Bangkok
Today begins with a short river trip to the majestic Temple of Dawn before heading to the Royal Barge Museum which displays the amazing personal collection of the King’s fleet. As you navigate upstream lunch will be served onboard and a little later, you may enjoy an English traditional afternoon tea of scones and dainties and finger sandwiches before the vessel stops at Wat Pathum Khong Ka where you’ll feed the fish. In the early evening you'll reach Wat Bang Na to watch the beautiful sunset. In front of the serene and peaceful temple dinner will be served before retiring to your comfortable cabin for your first night's sleep on the water.
Day 2: Travel to Ayuthaya
In the early morning you might want to make merit with the Buddhist monks at the Bang Na temple and after enjoy your freshly prepared rich breakfast while navigating up the vital Chao Phraya River to Ayuthaya, Siam’s ancient capital which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. After lunch you will arrive at the Phananchoeng temple to drive by minivan to Ayuthaya. In Ayuthaya an experienced guide will accompany you the entire afternoon as you explore one of the greatest ancient cities of eighteenth century Asia. A limousine will take you in the evening to Bang Pa In, which is the location of the Summer Palace. Here you will rejoin the Manohra Song and in front of Wat Nivet enjoy an Ayuthaya-inspired dinner.
Day 3: Cultural experience and cruise back to Bangkok
Today’s program begins with an excursion to Wat Nivat and a short stroll to Bang Pa In before navigating to the Bang Sai Royal Folk Arts and Crafts Centre. This facility features a selection of varied Thai houses that display regional architectural styles. In addition, visitors will learn how the rural people produce many different handicrafts. Lunch will be served after this educational visit, and the cruise back to Bangkok will begin.
