Itinerary:
This trip takes you to serene orchards, fantastic temples, an extensive network of canals and friendly Thai people. During this ride you won’t see many cars and depending on the time of year, you might see Thai fruits such as pomelo, lychee, grapes, coconuts and guavas ripe for picking.
Exploring this enchanting area is truly rewarding. Many of the historic temples you’ll visit have long been favoured by members of Thailand’s royal family. You’ll be impressed by Wat Bang Kung, a remarkable Buddhist temple held up by an enormous banyan tree, housing a magnificent Buddha image.
The highlight of course is the actual Floating Market itself which we start at nice and early to avoid the crowds. Have your camera ready for this traditional market place where foodstuffs vendors and buyers exchange on the water.
