This three day biking trip offers a perfect introduction to Thailand, with a visit a floating market and ending up at one of its lovely beach resorts. In addition, you will be impressed by numerous temples and tranquil orchards that cultivate various exotic Thai fruits. Just south of the seaside resort town of Hua Hin, some enjoyable cycling will give participating cyclists an insight to this area’s many highlights, beautiful scenery among them.
Highlights
Long-tail boat trip through the floating market canals of Amphawa, absorbing local daily life along the water, discovering vast fruit orchards and plantations, exploring beautiful Kaeng Krachan national park.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Leaving Bangkok early we drive southwest to the Amphawa district in a neaby province to visit one of the less tourist floating markets that make this area famous, exploring the canal and backwaters of this area by longtail boat.
Day 2: Today’s tour continues cycling from Amphawa to Thailand’s largest national park, Kaeng Krachan in Petchaburi province, an area of mountainous beauty on the Burma border.
Day 3: This day you cycle along the scenic Pranburi coasts and visit the popular seaside resort town, Hua Hin. Here you get to see some of the lovely coastal landscapes in the upper Gulf of Thailand, typified by lovely unspoilt beaches, fruit orchards and rice paddies dotted with sugar palms. We end the tour in a lovely seaside resort.
You can choose to stay on in Hua Hin for a few more days, make your own way South or arrange a transfer back to Bangkok with us (optional).
